The Awesome Seven Colored Earths of Chamarel



If you are on a Mauritius holiday, then your holiday will be incomplete if you don’t visit this famed land of mufti-colored sands. Chamarel waterfalls are a geological formation and in a way is nature's little magic. It resembles a colorful blanket which rolls down as soft sand dunes. The Chamarel waterfalls are found in the Chamarel plain in south western Mauritius and it is for this reason that it has become a major tourist attraction in a Mauritius honeymoon Tour Package.

The waterfall has been brought about by the River St.Denis and has been encompassed by lush vegetation of the Black River Gorges.

With regards to activities in the Chamarel waterfalls, you will get see an awesome view of the waterfalls. While on your Mauritius Honeymoon Package, you can from the upper deck see the waterfalls which have been placed at the Chamarel Seven Colored Earth reserve.

While you are on a visit to the waterfall, you will be able to spot some wild monkeys at the viewpoint of the mountain of the Black River Gorges National Park. These monkeys are playful. However, it is advised that you don’t approach them at a close range as they may turn aggressive. Asides from this, you will be able to have an excellent of the island since Mauritius is not a very big island.
 
If you have the time do try and visit the nature spot which is the famous mufti-colored earth near to the Chamarel Falls. The natural colors of the earth are very impressive.
